The Flyentology DJs throw the best weekly dance party in Iowa City. Every Tuesday they get busy at the Yacht Club mixing some of the hottest beats in electronica, often featuring guest DJs or bands. This week, the Flyentology crew takes a turn for the jam-rock with guest artists Eoto making an appearance at the Yacht Club for an evening of candy-flipping and dancing. OK, you don’t have to candy-flip if you don’t wanna but you’ll probably catch a whiff of patchouli as you dig your mouth and nose into the sweaty neck of that dreadlock’d chick / dude your dancing with. Eoto is a live electronica outfit featuring members of the renowned String Cheese Incident so you know this show is going to be hella long. In true JamBase fashion these guys improvise a new show every night, ensuring that you’ll be getting a unique experience. Be sure to stock up on water before heading over to the Yacht. Not because you’d be doing anything that would require drinking a lot of water or anything. Not that I would know what that thing might be. Not that I’ll even be there. Whatever dude, don’t hate: I’ve seen more Bisco shows than you’ve seen Jerry in dreams.
