  1. Are you still booking for the festival in spring ? We would like to send a promo pack if interested. We are a duo, acoustic guitar with effect pedals Male and female vocalist. We play a very broad variety of music, covers as well as our own compositions. My partner and I have been playing music together for 6 years and have been playing coffee houses and bars throughout Iowa and Illinois for nearly a year. We are called Maddies Farm and we live and work in Muscatine. We would really like a shot at playing for your festival. We love outdoor venues. Thanks sincerely Madonna Suri, Maddies Farm

  2. The Lost Marbles is a Minneapolis based band that has been jamming folk rock for over 10 years. They are comprised of seven eclectic musicians who truly enjoy making music. The Lost Marbles, with two rock in’ drummers, horns, keys, jamming’ guitars, funky bass and vocals that hit your soul, are influenced by many of the greatest musicians of the 60’s and 70’s. The Lost Marbles experience stands true to the ultimate jamming folk rock of a good time filled with music to move your feet too.

The Lost Marbles has performed many Minneapolis venues such as The Cabooze, Whiskey Junction, Fine Line, Trocaderos, and Famous Dave’s. In St. Paul, Minnesota Music Café, The Blues Saloon, O’Gara’s, Big V’s, and many others. They really enjoy performing out door concerts at St. Anthony Main, Nicollet Island, Lake Harriet, Lake Phallen and Minnehaha Falls. The Lost Marbles are a regional band playing Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North and South Dakota working to become a national act.

  3. Good thing you have Dead Larry listed twice. So since when is hanging a cheap ass banner behind a bunch of bands make something a “festival”?

  4. wow….one national act worth seeing, some mid-level indie bands that no one has heard of and a bunch of locals we’ve all seen a billion times. way to come through. bravo. keep up the good work.

  5. thanks for the tip. Dead Larry is now only listed once.

  6. @ meh: which band do you think is worth seeing?

  7. @ not buyingit: well, when it involves booking and promoting all of those bands. You’re right if you’re implying anyone can do it.

  8. Out come the haters. Or hater, since the posts came minutes apart.

  9. Great lineup! Now all you need is a little band from SF called Scrabbel to play. Wish I could make it up for the festivities.

  10. We LOVE Scrabbel!
