The Artists-in-Residence is a new program at Mission Creek Festival this year. The program was developed to help further engage visiting artists with meaningful experiences in Iowa City. Our partner for this year’s residency program is Flat Black Studios and its chief sound engineer Luke Tweedy. This year’s residents are Dirty Beaches and Erase Errata. While in town for the festival, Dirty Beaches will record a split 7″ (with Wet Hair) at Flat Black Studios and Erase Errata will begin tracking their new album at the studio as well.
