Video: Wye Oak

Oh man, we love us some Wye Oak ’round here (evidence of our love found here and here).  And what’s not to love?  Especially with the approach of Autumn, the duo’s warm, lush harmonies seem further imbued with the sepia and earth tones we wrap ourselves in as the leaves begin to fall. And now Wye Oak has given us another reason to love them: a pretty new music video.

Earlier today Pitchfork TV unveiled the latest venture from the Baltimore duo: the music video for “Please Concrete.”  The video follows the exploits of a pig-tailed girl who runs afoul many a manic television.  It seems to be a commentary on lackluster parents raising their children with TV rather than actually parenting, but I’ll let you cull whatever meaning from it you like.
