Barry Phipps will relocate his studio to McNutt Gallery for one week as part installation, part store, part workshop, keeping regular business hours from 10am - 5pm, while he works on several projects to reveal the process to prospective viewers.

Phipps’ artistic process will be filmed throughout the day, then produced into a film that will be projected onto a yet-to-be-named downtown building at night. Festivalgoers and unsuspecting passersby alike will be treated to virtual observation windows into the artistic process, which will create multiplied accessibility to the project and tattoo a super-temporary, ever-changing, blink-and-you-miss-it artist installation onto the bones of the city that birthed it.
