“There are concrete, socioeconomic barriers in place, amongst other things, that lead to environmental complacency and spiritual estrangement of young inner-city communities.  This often results in massive material consumption and extraordinary environmental degradation in our communities and abroad.  I produce these works to shed raw light on these issues in hopes of perturbing routine inner city life away from the aforementioned material consumption and into a state of self-realization and environmental awakening.” -Jordan J. Weber

Jordan Weber will be doing a workshop/mural with high school students involved with the youth achievement program at the Dream Center. This will precede a talk by Kiese Laymon at the same location.
