Friday, April 3: Intensive Workshops, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
On Friday, Mission Creek Innovation will offer daylong workshops for those wanting to go more in-depth and get more hands-on experience. The Clojure workshop will give participants an introduction to functional programming on the JVM. The diversity workshop will provide insight into leadership for equity and inclusion. We’ll host workshop sessions in the morning and afternoon, with a lunch break at noon.

Saturday, April 4: Innovation Conference
The Mission Creek Innovation Conference will feature keynote speakers Johanna Blakley, managing director and director of research at the Norman Lear Center, a media-focused think tank at the University of Southern California that explores the convergence of entertainment, commerce and society; and Jeff Casimir, Executive Director of Turing School of Software and Design and founder of JumpStart Lab, both in Denver, CO, and co-creator of the Hungry Academy in Washington, D.C.
Breakout sessions will allow attendees to tailor the experience to their interests, focusing on the tech side or the entrepreneurial side, with both tracks converging for keynote speakers.
