Exclusive mp3: Brighton, MA - It’s Not Our Fault

We’re are extremely excited to welcome back Chicago’s Brighton, MA for their third Mission Creek appearance this April. Remember, they’ll be headlining the first night of the festival on a totally awesome and diverse bill at the Mill with Iowa City’s own Pieta Brown and a couple of awesome DC folk artists: These United States and Vandaveer. Rumor has it Skursula might be making an appearance as well. To get you good and ready, the Brighton boys have passed along an exclusive sneak peak of a track from their forthcoming full-length record, which won’t even be out until the fall. Amateur Lovers has a tentative October 14 release date, and as it is with these things, it’s unclear whether or not this is the “final album cut” or whether or not there are changes still in the works. But that doesn’t matter to you or me. All that matters is that you heard it here first, and then you can hear it live on April 2.

PSYCHE!!! We have to hold off on this exclusive track — sorry ’bout that! Hopefully we’ll have it up in a few days.
